import from outlook

Ouitlook 2000 is installed on this computor with XP Pro. I up-graded to Vista
and outlook 2000 is not supported. I do not wish to buy office 2007 so have
switched my email to windows mail and can't import messages from outlook2000
 
Got another computer around that has or can have Outlook 2000 installed on
it?
Export the messages to Outlook Express then import into Windows Mail.

Actually I'm beginning to like Outlook 2007 better than 2003 and a ton
better than 2000 which blew away 98 and 97. Can't remember anything before
that though. Been way to long from Office 95.
 
Thanks that will work if I can get outlook messages I need to keep a lot of
them to answer

Yes I have another computor with express on it. They wont sell just outlook
2007 have to get the whole MaryAnne Office 2007
 
Temporarily install Outlook 2000 on the other computer. Export to/Import
from Outlook Express on that computer. Then take ALL the dbx files created
and put on the Vista comptuer and import them into Windows Mail.

Menu File Export and menu File Import on both pieces of software, burn a CD
if you have to and bring that data across that way.

You can import into Outlook if Outlook is active on Vista or you can use
Windows Mail on Vista. Windows Mail is the equivalent to Outlook Express and
is more secure than Outlook or Outlook Express.

Vista has Microsoft Works that has the calendar and the whole nine yards for
the most part.

Where can I find statistics backing your claim?
 
Hello,

I had to restore my laptop and I lost allmy outlook express folders. Is
there a way to Import them to outlook again?
