Import from Eudora 6.0

Using Outlook 2002 al service packs applies on a windows
XP SP-1 machine. When I attempt to import the mail &
address book from Eudora Pro 6.0 I get the following error
msg. " The mail folder could not be opened. If another
application is using this file please close it & try again"

Eudora is not open & I disabled Norton antivirus as well
as script blocking.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Import into Outlook Express first, the import into Outlook from there.

Works for me.
 
Pat,

I had the same issue in Outlook 2003. I think Outlook is
looking in the wrong directory for the Eudora files during
the import process. I found that after I uninstalled
Eudora Outlook prompts for the location of Eudora's mail
directory. I was then able to point Outlook to the correct
location and the import worked fine.
