Import Excel data?

In PowerPoint 2003, when you create a chart, you can view the Datasheet
window then Edit, Import File to import an Excel worksheet.

Is there a way to do that in PP 2007? I've searched for "datasheet" and also
for "import file" but I'm not finding anything and my search through the
PowerPoint command reference worksheet didn't yield anything, either. I hope
I'm just missing something.

I realize that I can open the external file and copy/paste, but I'd like to
be able to import a file and save the open/copy/paste steps.
