How do you import a pdf file (acrobat) to a word document (there is a provision in acrobat reader to Export document to text - which can be opened in word, but exporting as text spoils the formatting; if you do select-all & copy in the acrobat file and paste it in the word document, most of the formatting comes out ok, except for tables...

is there a better way to get formatted stuff from a pdf to a word document.

What version of Acrobat are you using?

Using the tool Adobe Acrobat (www.adobe.com), you can save a PDF file in
Word DOC format. This is a non-free product. This is what I use to do
this.

Via searching on Google or other search engine, you may find other tools
are available.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
