Import a column from Excel to Fields in Word, Help

Hi,
I have a column in Excel with in each cell a different name. Is there a way to import that column from excel into word, in order to get those names displayed as fields (for a standard letter that I need to write to each person, who's names are in the column)?

You can use your spreadsheet as the data source for a mailmerge. Check the
MailMerge Helper for guidelines.

As Jezebel says, Word can use an Excel sheet as a data source for a mail
