IMAP is the only mail account configured on Outlook 2003
client. When Outlook comes up, it freezes at Downloading
Hierarchy in the status bar. Window XP says it is not
responding. Task Manager shows no CPU or IO activity.
Network Connecitons show no activity.
I can fix this by deleting the .pst file associated with
the non-IMAP mailbox (IMAP with outlook uses a seperate PST
for the IMAP temp storage). Of course this wipes out my
Calendar, Contacts and Notes. This has been an issue ever
since Outlook XP but is critical now as it occurs almost
daily. (Thank God I have everthing duplicated in ACT! and
Mozilla)
Is there an inbox repair utility that will clean out the
