images bmp...jpg

normally when i download my images they go in .jpg.. but now.. all open in
..bmp ..
what`s wrong?? how can i pass .bmp to .jpg ?? Help please!!!!
 
In IE: Tools>Internet Options. Delete the Temporary Internet Files
and check the box to Delete Offline Content also.
