Image resolution

I had to reinstall XP Home on my Athlon 2400 which went
fine but since doing it images from the web don't seem
quite as sharp as they did. I've looked under display
settings and have 800x600 (15 inch monitor) and highest
32bit colour setting. Is there anything else I can check
to restore the previous quality? Thanks for any help

Did you reinstall your video driver when you reinstalled XP?

Get it from the web site of your video card manufacturer. Follow their
installation instructions very carefully.

The video card was on the mother board as far as I'm
aware but I'll check devices, thanks for the suggestion.

If you are using on-board video, you'll need to contact the manufacturer of
your computer.
