I am running XP SP2 and IE 6. Have had an issue previously where image
thumbnails would not load and would only display the dreaded RED X. Got
around that with system restore but reluctant to use it often. Recent problem
is that clicking on links often returns`page cannot be found`. Click the same
link a moment later and it opens. The same day this behaviour began, I have
been having problems with images that only partially load and then stop.
Refresh does not achieve any result other than replicating the previous
`part` image. going back to the original link and trying again either
replicates the cached `part` image or begins to download only to partially
complete at a different point. Any suggestions gratefully accepted
