Is there a way I can make IE not compare timestamp of an
image/icon cached with the web server?

I am having a problem on a web page that contains about
80 images/icons that never get changed. IE still issues
check for this image over 600 ms latency network and as
result takes a very long time for this page to load.

Thanks,

Ronak

The only option I know would be to not show pictures when you go to that
site.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Tab, Under Multimedia....

This is a nice tool I used. It's no longer free. But, you may be able to
find a free copy on the web.
