needs vista help

I'm trying to save a file and windows keeps telling me that I do not have
authorziaation to save a file anywhere except my "username folder".

I am the only one using this computer and I want to have access to my whole
computer all the time.

I'm not interested in going through this having to right clcik each time this
happens, I would like to simply "take ownership" of my own computer, lol.

I read somewhere that vista implements this so that programs can not install
themselves without your consent, but does vista seriously not know if I am at
my computer physically trying to save a file there myself?

How bout a simple program that sees that I am physically clicking my mouse
and typying on my keyboard, I mean I have already used a password to sign
into windows so it no longer has to protect from someone else physically at
my computer.

Take ownership of the folder.

needs vista help,

A password means nothing. Passwords are easy to determine under the
right circumstances. Are you trying to download a file to another account
with a different name? That shouldn't be a problem if you have administrative
priveleges.

Are you running under an administrator account or standard account?
Which type of network are you running?

I run an administrator account on a private network, although this is
frowned upon. I can download and install just about anything I wish wherever
I wish, in any account and on any drive. However, if you are trying to
download a file that has previous ownership you have no choice but to take
ownership of the file.

Regardless, if you are too lazy to use the right click ownership or too
stubborn to submit to the security functions of Vista you should use another
OS.
