I'm stuck in XP mud

During install, I made it 81% through and then certain
files couldn't be copied off the XP CD. I've cleaned the
CD and that didn't help. But I took the disk to another
computer and I am able copy the troubled files there.
Doesn't appear to be a disk problem and my only other
choices are to skip the files or quit. Where the heck do
I go from here?
