Dear God please forgive me. I crossposted to several newsgroups. I am a
sinner and I deserve to spend the rest of my life in the flaming torture of
hellfire and brimstone.

I am so terribly sorry. Please withold thy wrath as doest thou servant hath
not sinneth against thee, ye hopeth.

Everyone who commented on your crossposting did so politely and in a
spirit of helpful guidance, after addressing the question you
crossposted. If you intend to get help in these groups in the future, I
suggest you take their advice and try to behave according to the norms
of the community.

Too late, I fear, Dirk. He's demonstrated that he's more interested in being
an argumentative smart aleck than getting answers. My guess is that he's
already a permanent resident in a lot of killfiles.
