yHas anyone out there EVER had a reasonable, rational answer to a request to
MS to explain an Event Viewer warning?

For that matter has anone ever had an answer at all that didn't say, in
essense, we've never heard of this and we can't help you?

Am I doing something wrong that stops me from gettiing answers or is the
whole point to build MS's database of problems with no regard for the
problems of the user. I know that sounds cynical but this system has been
around for a while now and it seems incredible to me that they have no answer
to any question I've ever asked.

Many times the link given in the Event Log Error has solved my problem.
Other times - a little research was required - but it got solved.
Very few times has it been a complete bust.

Now some of the macintosh errors I have seen - those are worthless.
"Error -34835683286" <- and that's it. Yeah - thanks. heh
(Doesn't happen all the time - but..)

As for your experience - I don't know what you've asked.

Actually the answer to most of the events/warnings lies in the
url,if you ever
click on it.This opens help/support in xp with kb giving you a
fix,answer,or what
may be the specific problem. Also, click on the two pages locked
together in the
R.upper corner,this transfers all info to clipboard,then save as,open
with word
pad,then print,no answers but details.You can/could also go to
TechNet at microsoft,troubleshooting/support,then click on events &
error center, type in some info, and you get answers....Pretty simple.

Actually your reply might be right, but who can tell! Learn to type and post
a reply someone can understand.
You're pathetic.
