I'm looking for a mp3 player that stays in the task bar.

I'm trying to optimize my laptop by not starting media player when I
play podcast. It takes time for it to start and I always have to
shrink it down. Thanks.

coolplayer. Every time you alt tab is shrinks itself to taskbar

Most any will stay in the taskbar when minimized. Did you mean you want
it in the system tray? If so, STP (System Tray Player).

If you meant you wanted to have a player open minimized then make a
shortcut to it and select "Minimized" in the "Run" box in Properties.

Dont be hasty!! These are all crazy suggestions in my opinion!! Whats wrong
with Winamp?

U can configure it to live in the taskbar, the system tray, both, or :-s
neither!! lol
