im having problems with internet explorer

im having problems with internet explorer it keeps saying
it incountered a problem and needs to close send error
report or close, when i chose each one it kicks me back
to the desktop and my son cannot do his work for home
schooling.can anyone help would appreciate it. thanks

You might have the blaster worm virus. My computer did
this too. I downloaded the "fixblast" tool and the
security patch from www.symantec.com Hope this helps.
