I'm facing Very Serious Problem!

lasy day the xp was operate properly. But today i found that shortcut of All
Progrms, ,My Documents desktop shortcut, Recycle Bin, some of settings in
Control Panel was gone. I donno why. Fortunately, most of the things like
programs and filestill there. But this is a very serious problem. Please help
me.
 
Very weird i go to search in My Computer. The shortcut is still there. But it
didn't apply at the Startmenu All Programs shortcut. So weird.

Use System Resore to go back to before the problem occurred.
You can access it directly in Windows Explorer:-
%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Use the System Restore tool and scan the system for malware.
 
Thanks. System Restore resolved my problem. Actually I'm interested what
actually cause this problem.
