hello, I have a W2K domain with 2 DCs and one W2k Member server, This member server runs IIS and hosts intranet web site
Sometimes when I add a new site i cant access it through the browser, Some errors like access denied etc. The new virtual directories have even been setup with the Everyone group allowed acces and an Administrator still cannot access the web page, Do I need to assign the I_USR and I_WAM for that member server or the I_USR and I_WAM from the domain to the folders that are web share
thanks

First Check which authentication method you have selected it is Anonymous
Authentication or something else
More information about the Authentication

How to Change the Authentication
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301457&Product=iis50

Next you have view the folder permission for the system. Share permission
and also NTFS permission
Check the effective NFTS Permission

Even though you login in to the system as an administrator, your browser
will reach the folder as everyone group and if it is denied by NTFS
permission then you will get error message.

For Example if your site home page is c:\intranet\test

Then check Effective NTFS permission for the test folder must be everyone
full control (Or depending upon your security level)

If you wanted security you can use other authentication method explained in
the

In windows 2003 anonymous user is not coming under everyone group by default
If you have enabled the anonymous authentication then in group policy add
the anonymous account for every one group
