Would like to host multiple websites from my XP Pro machine at home - is it possible? Got one up and running, but I have multiple web sites which I need to host. Can I use a vitual directory?

No. IIS only supports the hosting of one (IIRC - I don't use it). And you
should really clear it with your ISP if you're going to be hosting more than
one - they can be quite touchy about things like this.

IIS5.1 built into XP Pro will support only a SINGLE website (with multiple
subwebs) and has a limit of TEN simultaneous connections.

For multiple websites and unlimited connections, you must move to a Server
operating system like Windows 2003 Server which comes with IIS6.0.

You also need to hope your ISP is OK with you running multiple web
servers from your home account. Many aren't and will cancel your
account for violating the TOS.
