I do not see that message, but YOU set the status locally to Ignored.
If you click on the ignored symbol once it will disappear, click in the same
place once more and a pair of spectacles icon will appear, and the message
will change colour to Red, leave it like that, then any replies will turn
the name of the newsgroup red also, to tell you that you have replies to a
Watched message.

Here is your post that shows here as posted at 0733 EST which is 1333 PM in France

Hello

Does anyone know how to get archived messages appear again in their original
folder ?

The thing is:
For some time I felt like some of my folders were gradually smaller; up to
the time when sometimes I thought I had a folder named XYZ but couldn't see
it anymore in Windows Mail.

During the week-end ... surprise !!!!
I was looking for an old message and no idea on the folder it was stored in
(I have quite a number).
So I run a search on messages older then 2006 and found my message including
many other old messages in the search window. When I clicked on the message
in the search window I could view it in full, but it sill does not appear in
my folders.

=> Apparently my messages are automativally archived after a certain amount
of time. But they disappear from the folder they were filed into, but don't
disappear completly.

I would like to view these filed messages in the folder they were stored.
Does anyone have an idea ?

Thank you in advance for your help

PS: I don't recall having set up an archive routine. I wonder where does
this filing mechanisme come from ?

<end snip >

I checked on your earlier message, and there were no replies,
so I did respond to it just now.
(Answer: Windows Mail does not have an archiving function.)
