How does one setup the ignore person in this newsgroup. Doris day is getting
on my last nerve?

It appears your using Windows Mail to view the groups, I am really not
familiar with WM as I use a dedicated news reader, but my guess would
be to make a MESSAGE RULE. I think it's under the TOOLS menu if I'm
not mistaken.

Using Windows Mail....

Select Message then.... from tool bar

Message>JunkEmail>Add Sender to Blocked Sender List

He thinks it is a Yahoo chat room, where you can ignore text. Doris is not
emailing him, and that is what the block message rule is for: emails

Here is a handy trick I use for newsgroup filtering that works in either
Outlook Express or Windows Mail:

Set up a new rule (Tools, Message Rules, News)
Set up the first rule as follows:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the From line contains <list of names or Email addresses>
Delete it

Set up a second rule as follows:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the From line contains <list of names or Email addresses>
Mark it as read

Apply both rules to the newsgroup(s) you want to block senders from. The
messages from those you have specified as undesirable will never even be
downloaded. Works wonders for the blood pressure and bile level. ;-)

Here's a sure-fire way to not seeing any posts from that handle... go into
the ubutnu ng. Nary a one.
