I receive automatic prompts to "archive" Outlook. I have hit the "yes" and
viola, the email is archived. I am now trying to locate an old email and
can't find it by doing a search.
Have I done more than archive? Are my old emails gone for good? How do I
access archived email?
Thank you very much!
Bill

Look in your archive settings, and find the name and location of the pst
file that your outlook is archiving to.

Now open this pst file (file->open pst/outlook data). All of you mail is
there.

Dear Itai Raz--
Sorry to be so dense but, I have gone all through my toolbars and looked
everywhere I can think for "Archive Settings" and cannot find it. Seems that
if I am getting a prompt to archive email that the email should be in an easy
to retrieve area.
Can you give me some more help??
Thanks,
Bill

You need to look in the properties of a folder you archived or in TOols |
Options | Other | AutoArchive.
