Using a collegues formula: =IF(D6=0,0,F6/D6)

I am trying to get the % change between columns D and E. Problem is D and E
contain Zero at times. If D has a negative number or Zero, the % change is
not always accurate.

Tried the following, but if D is a zero then the result will not always be
correct.

=IF(D6<=0,0+F6,E6/D6-1)

Especially if D1=0, E1=2.

How do you wish to define the percentage change from D to E if D is zero?
Under normal terminology the percentage change would be infinite, but what
do you want to call it?
I would tend to do something like =IF(D6=0,"infinite change",E6/D6-1) , but
the choice is yours. You may also need to think about how you want to
define the percentage change if you are starting from a negative value.

=e1-d1 which is suppose to give net change, This is a comparison between
2007 and 2008. Numbers are very small.
