I recently connected to the internet and typed in
www.google.com, and to my amazement a c-panel webpage
popped up with the words "There is no website configured
at this address. " Well phooey I knew better than that
and said there most certainly is! typed it again and
again to no avail. I even downloaded the google bar and
installed it, it works fine except you can't sear with it,
anything associated with google doesn't work. I have
found other search engines where the main page will open,
but results will not show up. Needless to say this is a
real problem and I have no Idea what to do. I don't
really want to pay Microsoft $39.95 just to get an
answer. I have cleared my cache, updated all windows
components excepting direct X and it still happens. I
have even re-installed windows (although using the method
that doesn't format your drive and keeps all your
programs/settings cause I'm not that desperate). So if
anyone knows what to check or a solution that doesn't
involve formatting my harddrive or something I've already
done, please reply.
