If a range contains...

I'm trying to write a logical test that means: if (any cell in range a:a)
contains "the word text", then... I have the values part down, I only need
this logical test.

You should post your question in an Excel group. This group is for Access,
the database application for MS Office.
 
This newsgroup supports Microsoft Access, the relational database.

Your question seems to point to Excel, the spreadsheet ... try posting to an
Excel-specific newsgroup...
