Iexplore Help Needed

I close my browser and it looks like it shuts down however in the task
manager it shows it still running. My problem is when I shut the
computer down it tries to close iexplore and it has to have the end
now button clicked before it will end. Very annoying.
I need a remedy for this if there is one.
I have used SFC /scannow a couple of times but that does not cure it.
I do not have this problem on my wife's computer. We have identical
setups

I have run Spy Sweeper, Pest Patrol, Ad-Aware and Spy Emergency. They
all come up clean.
I don't think that is the problem. Do you have any other ideas?

Please post the URL pointing to the forum thread where you've posted your
HijackThis log for inspection by experts.
