iexplore.exe application error

Hope this is the right newsgroup for this. Sometimes when I X out of a web
page . I get this message " The instruction at "0x0160d7db" referenced
memory at "0x0160d7db". The memory could not be "read".Click on OK to
terminate the program
.. I have IE v6.0 and SP2. It doesn't happen all the time ,just every now
and then. Sometimes by itself sometime just after the " Internet Explorer
has encountered a problem and will have to close" dialog box . If someone
knows of a fix or way of troubleshooting this I would appreciate it.
