Hi,
I am having the same exact problem with my Canon zr20.
I have tried two different IEEE 1394 cards, two different
cables , 3 different capture programs ( Ulead, moviemaker
2, Premiere)and I even tried a different dv camcorder
(Panasonic)without success. the card is recognized by the
computer and device manager shows that it is working
proberly. I think the problem is related to Windows XP
not recognizing devices connected via IEEE 1394 or not
loading the appropriate drivers. I even called Dell for
support and they had no clue what to do. Have you found
any solutions, please email me if you did, would much
appreciated.
