IE7 Times Out

Can anybody tell me why My Internet Explorer 7 close down a connection to the
Internet after a certain period of time. I checked with my ISP and all
connections were running OK.
All of a sudden my connection stops, no Outlook Express connection and no
Internet Explorer connection. I reinstalled my Broadband router and Driver
but still the same.
I'm using XP MCE 2005 and I have Vista RC1 on a partition on a second HDD,
would this be the cause of it? IE7 runs OK in the Vista OS.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanx

Check your ethernet drivers. Also, does the same thing happen in
firefox or any other browser, or just IE7? I am assuming you aren't on
wireless.

No I'm not using a Wireless setup and it does happen with Firefox, Outlook
Express etc. It seems to be my Internet connection but all settings are
corret with my ISP and router setup. Its odd.

if you have a software firewall ie Zonealarm change your internet adapter to
the trusted zone also your loopback adapter

Does you IE and ISP work in safe mode with networking?????
I have developed this fault but both work in safe mode.
