To make IE6 safer, I have installed and been using "DropMyRights". The
latest MS priority upgrade installed IE7. Would this have disabled my DMR
protection? Do I need to do something else to continue using the protection
of DMR?

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)

Thank you Malke. But after 15 minutes with IE7, I dropped it and went back
to Firefox. I also uninstalled the IE7 upgrade and went back to IE6 which I
use only for Windows updates. So it is now a moot point.
