If you are using Microsoft Virtual Machine, in IE:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Scroll to "Microsoft VM" section and ensure "JIT complier" is checked

If you are using Sun Java, in Control Panel:
Open "Java Plug-in" applet
Select "Browser" tab and ensure "Microsoft Internet Explorer" is checked
