I would like to download IE6 from Microsoft and save it to a CD so that I can load it on my friends computer which does not have a cable modem. It seems that when I download it to all I get is a setup file (less than 1 Meg) and then when I run that it installs IE6 on my computer. I want to create a CD ROM and then load it on my friends computer. Please help.

Go to the Windows Update Catalog instead. You can download the entire
file/update from there.
