IE6 window size

I have a shortcut on my desktop to a well used website. If I launch
the link IE opens in a very small window, whereas if I open IE first
it is fullscreen.

Can anyone point me to the reg settings to ensure all IE windows are
opened full screen?

Drag the window to almost full-screen size and press CTRL while you
close it.
 
I don't know the reg settings, however I use a utility
program called 'jiiSoft - IE New Window Maximizer'. You
should be able to find it on downloads.com.
