I installed IE6 yesterday on my comp, rebooted, went to Cybertown & was able
to get into 3d & use a 3d object just fine. A few hours later I was unable
to view any 3d worlds or objects in my browser window with the exception of
1 world on someone's personal webspace (where I get only the 1st part of the
error message but the wrl comes in anyway for some inexplicable reason). I
can't view my own worlds on my own server-provided webspace either. I am
using IE6 on Win98 with Blaxxun Contact 4.4 The error message that comes in
on the blaxxun Contact 3D Console is:
Error unknown (80040155)
Can't download "nameoftheworld.wrl" : Interface not registered (80040155)
I've been building 3d worlds for a little while now so this is a serious
issue for me not to be able to view my worlds & the worlds of others on the
net. Any help/suggestions/knowledge of the problem greatly appreciated.
