IE6 -Tools- IE options blocked

Hello all

Win2K-SP4 and IE6

All of a sudden I cannot get to Tools - Internet options.
I get a message saying

Restrictions
This operation has been restricted on this computer.
Please ask you administrator.

But that's me !!??

The last thing I did before this behavior started
was a complete backup to my external HD
but I can't imagine this being the cause.

Thanks Torgeir !

The Remove IE Restrictions & Restore Missing tabs reg solution worked.
And I've scanned with Adaware and thrown off a couple of suspects etc.
Things back to normal now.

Is there any other damage likely to accompany this phenomenon ?
Should I check anythings else ?
