Somehow an ISEARCH toolbar has been installed in IE6. I have tried
several removal tools, and unistal features, but it is still there. It
has also setup in such a way that I have no access to the other
toolbars...eg.: If you go into View > Toolbar, All items are greyed
out, except Text Labels. Does anyone know How I can rid myself of this
annoyance????

Thanks in advance

There isn't anything in Add/Remove programs, and I deleted it out of
the internet objects. I went to www.download.com and found Hijack This
1.97 and clicked on down load, the link took me to another page saying
the program was downloading, but that was it, nothing ekse happened. I
have tried using the Spybot Search and Destroy tool, but that hasn't
helped. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

Lavasoft's Ad-aware now targets this pest.

Try the uninstaller at http://www.isearch.com/faq.php

If unsuccessful with that, download, install, *update* and run Ad-aware from
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ It has been removing isearch.

If isearch is removed but your IE toolbar is still locked, go to
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFAQ.htm > #32 Toolbars are locked.

The link to http://www.isearch.com/faq.php was finally the only thing
that removed the toolbar. Adaware was unsuccessful.

Thanks so much for the Help
