I recently upgraded to the new windows xp sp2.Since doing
this I am having a problem with internet explorer 6
sending me Script errors. Here is one example that keeps
popping up>>
LINE:77
CHAR:1
ERROR:object doesn't support this property or method
CODE: 0
URL:http://member.compuserve.com/new/html/live/wmnew.html
DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE RUNNING SCRIPTS ON THIS PAGE?

Has anone else experienced this and how to I fix it?Is it
from the upgrade in xp sp2?
Thank so much.

Thank you for replying.I have did what you said several times and it still
is
popping up script errors. This did not happen before the xp spk2 upgrade. I
have gotten a few different errors also but this is the main one.I have
walmart connect and when I first sign on and the main page and a little
pop
up box start to open is when this error happens. It doesn't matter what I
click yes or no or close it out the little pop up box will then finsh
loading. The main page always loads regardless of this error popping up.

I have the same problem ever since updating to whichever MSN Messenger
version came with a pop-up blocker. The errors seem to happen
especially when there are pop-up windows. I now have XP SP2, with its
own pop-up blocker instead of MSN Messenger's (now on v6.2.0137). I
tried refreshing the script engine, disabling script debugging, and
disabling script-error notifications, but the problem persists
(whether or not the pop-up blocker is turned on).

I finally tried one last thing. i did a system restore back to a date before
I had installed the new xp sp2.It worked for me.It removed all of the pop
blocker and security features though.I will try and update it later when the
bugs are fixed.
