IE6 "Save Picture as..." problem

When I right-click a picture (JPG) in IE6 and select "Save Picture as...", I
am only able to save it as a BMP file, not as a JPG. This behavior just
started yesterday. Sometimes, when I open a new instance of IE, the picture
will allow me to save as a JPG. Any ideas welcome.

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
