ie6 questions

hi all...

how can i keep ie6 from opening up in a reduced window size with the search
pane open?
(how can i set ie6 to always open maximized without search pane open?)

Close the search pane (click on X) then stretch the window to fill the
screen using the mouse on the bottom right hand corner. Close all windows,
making sure that IE is the last. Then try opening IE again.
