Sorry if I am posting to the wrong group, I could not find one for IE6
specifically.

In any case, I just wanted to know how I could clear the menus that pop-up
when you are doing a search inside of IE6. For example, if I go to
yahoo.com to do a search, anything that I have searched on before pops up
when I click in the search bar.

I have tried TweakUI, I have tried to do a "clear history" within IE6...all
to no avail.

Please advise.

are you refering to autocomplete feature?
that what it sounds like to me.

on the content tab, of the internet options menu, there is
an autocomplete section. you can clear its history i
believe there. also, in the advanced section, there is
turn on and off autocomplete. that would disable the
feature in its entirity
