IE6 New Window Closes Old One

When I right click a link in IE and select "Open in New Window" the new
window opens just fine - but the original window closes! I re-registered
several dll's but to no avail. I have all the most recent updates to IE and
XP Pro sp1. Please help!

In IE, go to the Tools menu, internet options, advanced tab
Remove the checkmark from "reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
Apply and okay your way out.
