IE6...IE has encountered a problem and needs to close...please help me

i open internet explorer and after several min. it
crashes. i receive a message that reads "internet
explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
i have spent a few hours tring to find information about
this problem and have found many similar instances.
however i can not get any solid information that helps me
fix MY problem. here is some information that explains
the error in more detail, though i do not know what any
of it means. "modver: 2003.1.31.1" "appver
6.0.2800.1106" "offset 00005861" "modname
ycomp5,1,1,0.dll)
a solution to this problem would be greatly
appretiated, please respond ASAP. Thank You.

I do not have yahoo anything and mine does the same
thing..so thats not my problem..what else ya got?

Don't piggyback on someone else's post, please. Post your own, giving
specifics of *your* problem and Windows & IE versions, including updates
installed.
