IE6 has long delay when trying to run

I double click IE6, then wait for 2 minutes (literally)
then it starts out of nowhere.

Anyone seen this?

I had exactly the same issue. Surf to a page. Clink a
hyperlink. No response from IE for 30 seconds. Then
magically, the page is retrieved. I found these ugly
Trojans in my registry:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Entries:
re75d9c4 "rundll32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RE75D9C4.DLL,EnableRunDLL32"
reb69df2 "rundll32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RE75D9C4.DLL,EnableRunDLL32"
red81542 "rundll32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RE75D9C4.DLL,EnableRunDLL32"
refe744f "rundll32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RE75D9C4.DLL,EnableRunDLL32"

I deleted those entries, rebooted, and PRESTO! Problem
went away. IE works fine again.

Thanks for the feedback. However the numbers reb69df2 and red81542 etc...
are probably random generated file names.

I would still run the removal tools. If you have been hit once there may be
others.
