ie6 encounters a problem

I keep getting a message that says ie6 has encountered a
problem and must close. The error signature is as follows:
App name: iexplore.exe App Version: 6.0.2800.1106
Mod Name: msvcrt.dll Mod Ver: 6.1.8293.0 Offset: 000154a7
I can't go to my mailboxes or websites without this
coming up. And I even have trouble getting the Microsoft
Supporrt pages to open. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME.

You could try replacing MSVCRT.DLL with a new copy from here:
http://www.dynamiclink.nl/frames/dll.htm
It might even be a later version BUT BACKUP existing copy first.
Reboot afterwards and restart IE.
 
I get the same message when I try to go to IE. If I move
the message screen below the bottom of the desktop, I can
keep using IE. What the heck causes this??
 
I HAVE THE VERY SAME PROBLEM; HAVE HAD IT SINCE JANUARY.
AND, I HAVEN'T HEARD A THING FROM MS. :-((((((((
