Running XP Pro on Dell Dimension 4600. All updates and patches installed. About one month ago IE v6 started crashing frequently. IE v 6.0.2800.1106. Error message

Unable to find your version of the jscript.dll in this database.
Did you install any software recently?

I have the same problem. Disabling active scripting helps, and the problem doesn't occur. It doesn't solve the problem though. On my comp the problem started 2 days ago, and IE has so far crashed on a certain website only.

I have Ad-aware, Spybot, F-prot internet security 2004 with latest updates and all WinXP patches installed. I have the same version of jscript.dll as well. I wonder why that version is not on that list, but I'm sure it must be a mistake and it should be on the list.
