I have this ongoing problem and I am at a lost as to what
is going on. The problem is when I try to load certain
sites , IE6 shuts down or closes which ever way you want
to look at it. Super annoying!!! I have tried to
uninstall and reinstall. I have re-downloaded and re-
installed. I have tried the repair feature. I have
verified all settings in Internet Options. I have reset
the defaults. But IE6 still shuts down or closes. Please
help. I know it is something so simple and stupid that I
keep missing it. So can someone please shed some light on
me because my lights have finally gone out.

Thanks

Have you tried to clean out the windows temp directory, I
ran into the same problem with one of my clients and their
computer runs great.

Kelly has a tweak at line 155, right, "repair loss of internet access/
certain web sites".
