use to have the ie6 already installed, but something
attacked the browser. I uninstalled it, then tried to
install it again, but the message I kept getting is that
the file would not be downloaded because it didn't pass
the window's logo test. So what's the deal? Aren't windows
and the explorer both from microsoft?

Stupid thing that you can't contact Microsoft without
paying them money.....Please help I have window xp. Also I
have another thing-- I get a message "NT Authority system
is shutting system down" after I have been on line for 5
minutes.
