Hello,I have noticed that, trying to play videos from YouTube, quite a few
will not play in IE6 but they will in Firefox3!

As I prefer to use IE6,I am wondering why this is so,I have all the latest
updates, and I suspect I need some Add-On but I have not been able to
identify the cause of this,I even went to the MS Add-Ons page but I found
nothing I could use.

Any ideas appreciated!

Thanks and regards from Vancouver,Canada

You sure don't give much info.
You don't get any error that says, sorry, can't play this video cause
you don't have quicktime ? or something?

The one I looked at a few seconds ago is using flash media player. See
if you have the latest installed in IE6. But it seems your flash
player is broke or not there.

I hear you, yes, the message in IE6 is: Sorry, this video is not available
anymore.......and also when first trying to open one,it says:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's
Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. "
Then, for the ones that will play I have to hit Refresh or Reload and they
will play
The ones that won't play will say:Sorry video not available anymore

However, every time that I open Firefox and try to play the "no longer
available " videos, they will open and play fine (???)

Thanks for the response

Alberto

I have even run the Flash Player debugger, and I have the latest version 9
