when I use the internet, my eplorer responds very
slowly. It takes about twenty senods before it will take
a command. This just started a few days ago. I first
thought that I had a virus, but I scanned with norton
anti-virus and no virus was found. Please help.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
