Help! my sister has XP pro, IE. She says she cannot get out on any web pages. All she gets is 'the following page cannot be displayed'. What can I advise her to do. She is very computer illiterate.

Have your sister call me, or try this:
This is caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)
